This protein pumpkin smoothie is creamy, lightly sweet, and made with Greek yogurt, pumpkin puree, flaxseed, hemp hearts, and almond butter. It packs more than 30 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber into one satisfying smoothie, without protein powder or banana.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup (176g) frozen pumpkin puree
  • ¾ cup (176g) plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1 tablespoon hemp hearts
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch fine sea salt

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a blender, starting with the milk and Greek yogurt.
  • Blend on high until completely smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed. If the smoothie is thicker than you prefer, blend in cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time.
  • Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
